Piano Lessons

Great music teachers not only teach notes and timing but encourage a passion and love of the arts that will remain for a lifetime. Selecting the right teacher is critical to success. The skills of The Arts Academy piano faculty is unparalleled in Southeast Michigan. No matter your skill level, The Arts Academy teachers know how to make the learning process fun! Piano lessons are not just about learning to play. The instructors create a thorough, comprehensive learning environment incorporating music theory, music history, ear training and technique. In addition, annual student recitals allow students to enhance their skills through performance. The Arts Academy teachers are free to set their own rates; however private piano lessons average at about $30 per half hour. Materials are an additional charge, to be determined by the teacher. All tuition payments go directly to the teacher. There is also a one-time $25 enrollment fee, payable to Steinway Piano Gallery, that is due to Hannah Frantz, Director of The Arts Academy, with the student's enrollment form within the first week of the student's start date.
